The Dynamics GP 2016 release has brought about many changes by introducing new features and modifications. OData Services and Power BI integration are particularly interesting topics for Dynamics GP consumers interested in Business Intelligence and reporting in and off Dynamics ERP data.
Power BI is a Microsoft cloud-based business analytics service that enables you to leverage your organization’s data assets, providing insight and a live, 360-degree view of your business and pre-build Dynamics Content packs allowing a “plug-and-play” rollout for Dynamics consumers. Dynamics GP 2016 launched a new key performance indicator and chart analysis solution that interfaces directly with Office 365 accounts and Power BI-streaming service sites. Microsoft also announced changes to its roadmap for budgeting and reporting with Dynamics GP and SL products.
